Despite being skilled enough to earn the name "Laparoscopy Magician," surgeon Hideki Kaji (Masanobu Katsumura) , a.k.a. Doctor-Y, will still do anything for money. Kaji isn't getting any younger, and after his continual mistakes during laparoscopic surgery, he's approached about being a branch director on a remote island. To make things worse, his girlfriend parts ways with him and he finds out she left him for a wealthy entrepreneur with only 6 months left to live. What's more, the entrepreneur refuses hospitalization in order to get his affairs together, and orders Kaji to be his attending physician. Now they're stuck together...
