Waruboro starring Shota Matsuda and Yui Aragaki is based on the autobiographical novel by Gettsu Itaya. Matsuda plays Ko-chan, who was once a decent and regular student concentratign solely on his studies, until one day a single event changed his life. From that point onwards Ko-chan gets involved in a lot of problems. Aragaki plays his classmate and love interest. The movie is set during the 1980s and follows the school years of Ko-chan and his friends.
